Hi guys. I haven't been on this forum for awhile. I ended up with a few tda2030 amps and would like to build a small amp from them, no bridge config, just a single chip. Have looked at some here, but they all seem to have operational problems. Can anyone suggest a tested circuit?? Thanks in advance...keep building!!

The Newcomer's Forum / Resistor coding

Hi guys.
new to this forum, and i need some clarification. this may seem very newbie but here goes. I have years of experience in troubleshooting and reading schematics, but am just getting back into building. While looking at several schematics i noticed that the resistors are coded funny. Most i figured out, such as 2m2 is a 2.2 megohm, and 2k2 is 2200 ohm, but some are called for example 220R or 470R. what value is this and are there any other codes that an old guy my not be aware of? thanks for the help and i really like this forum!!
