Thanks Teemuk, great sites, very useful.  There are zillions of tube amp links out there, but SS are *very* hard to find. Many of them mysteripusly go "off air" without warning. Also found Peavey´s replacemente link very useful.

That's a great list.

Keep in mind too that while online files are handy at 4:30AM - the current time for me - there are other resources.  Many companies will send you the schematics if you ask for them.  Peavey is a good example, they will send you any you ask for.

This is not only useful when there is not an online library, it is also useful when an online collection is missing one.  They may have it in their offline files.

Teemuk -  Superb list, it obviously took alot of effort!! Which really, REALLY hurts me to have to ask "But what about Crate amps?"....lol im just yankin ya buddy!

They had a site with schematics while the brand was still owned by SLM (the site had schemas for both Ampeg and Crate). Now that both of those brands are owned by LOUD the site is gone.

I think you can order the schematics from LOUD (Crate's website should have contact information regarding tech support) and some schematics can be found online too. Tube amp schemas are quite easy to find but people ask me constantly about the schematics to their SS amps like GX or GFX series models. Unfortunately, lately I've been too busy to reply. Crate/LOUD should really do people a favour and put that stuff online.

If I remember right the user manuals to the quite old G- and B-series amps (these can be found online from Crate's website) also contain the schematics.

How do you register for the Peavey site?
All I get is a credential request,or error 404

You can register at their homepage http://www.about-guitar-amps.com/
or in the worst case, there you'll find a "contact us" link, to aske them personally.

Hi
slightly offtopic?
could you add Samick schematics link?
from yesterday I have Samick SM-15R combo
with wanderfull overdrive which compresses the sound like tubes,
I would like to know the details of the circuit,
thank you in advance!

Express Schematic, part of freeware Express PCB is very good, quite intuitive, and can be saved as a .bmp file, later easily converted into .gif/.png (preferred) or .jpg (not so good) for posting.

There are a ton of resources on the web for schematics, and most companies seem decent about giving them to you, but lately I have had some trouble getting info for my Hughes Kettner basskick 505, any suggestions? My Fender was easy to track down info for, as were most of my pedals, but i guess everything can't go easy!
The amp was "modded" (poorly)  or at least repaired before i got it and is filled with dirty solder joints melted board traces, and added jumpers, there is plenty of evidence to make the assumption that some of the components arent original...
one obviously problem component is a mangled Cap on the control board labeled C16, but judging by the placement i think it's just a filter cap for the tone control.
Title: Misc Schematic site(s)
Post by: spud on July 24, 2012, 09:56:16 PM
Here's one I ran across and it seems like there's a bunch of stuff there:

http://www.schematics.ca/

There was SchematicHeaven but last I checked it was gone.  Anyone know if that stuff is out there on the WEBS anywhere as an archive or something.

Unless there's another thread for Misc Schematics I guess this is as good as any if anyone runs across any sites that fit the bill.

Thanks,

Jim

Good set there - do you know what became of the old Schematic Heaven site?  That one had a massive archive of all kids of schematics and some were for some vintage tube gear but also solid state stuff.  Was there an archive for it somewhere that someone had stashed away some of that stuff?  What a shame to lose a resource like that.

Great compilation of links but I am still trying to find something for a Rocktron Replitone. Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?

I've seen this posted around the forum, but it should be here.

Schematics for Crate amplifiers (and others):
https://supportloudtech.netx.net/loud-public/#category/10641

Also, for those who have a schematic for the Sunn Beta Lead and disappointed that the power amp schematic is unreadable, the schematic for the Sunn "Alpha Series" mixers is the exact same thing.  Page 3 here:

can drop in to page 1 here:

A shame that many of these sites are taken down. On Gearslutz there is a thread about where to find schematics:

https://www.gearslutz.com/board/geekslutz-forum/481428-free-audio-schematics-download-3.html (https://www.gearslutz.com/board/geekslutz-forum/481428-free-audio-schematics-download-3.html)

And on www.audioschematics.dk (http://www.audioschematics.dk) is a list of sites: https://audioschematics.dk/more-schematics/ (https://audioschematics.dk/more-schematics/)
