Title: Good amp for use with quadboxes
Post by: DreamSeller on May 25, 2006, 10:16:16 AM
What is a fairly simple amp that will put out enough to effectivly drive a 2 X 12 and even a 4 X 12
speaker box without any clipping etc. I just want a nice clean sound

Thanks

Depends on the speakers in said boxes.  On average I would say bare minimum of using a LM1875 @ 25watts or so.  But I would really recommend doing a LM4780 @120watts to get full clean volume.
