Post by: Gilberty23 on August 15, 2011, 04:33:29 PM
I've got a valveking 112 and a lead channel stopped working.(clean channel is working fine on 100%). I've replaced all the tubes but the problem still persist.I've searched for cold joint, got the suspicious ones resoldered but it didn't helped  . Can anybody help me out with this, please?

V2 is the durt channel essentially.  So check the tube for voltages at the plate pins (1,6) and cathode pins (3,8) to see if the tube is conducting.

Plug a steady signal into the input - CD player, tape deck, whatever - and trace the signal through the stages.  See where it disappears.
