Title: KGA16R Schematic
Post by: bandmbill on March 17, 2011, 11:05:15 AM
Anyone got a schematic for a Kustom KGA16R - or know where to find one?

Cheers

Not really, but these student amps are practically all the same.
Not rocket science there.
What happened to yours?
Probably can be repaired without that specific schematic.

Nothing has gone wrong yet.

I did want to think about a few tweaks - perhaps replacing op-amps - seeing if I can add a channel change and reverb on/off switch - improve power supply.

If I get bored I might try producing a schematic!

Cheers

Did you contact Kustom and ask for it?

You probably won't hear back from them, a lot of places are like that now.

As for the channel changing circuit, check out this: http://www.ssguitar.com/index.php?topic=1855.0

I was going to add a channel switching pedal to my K20-X but never got around to it.  That should help you out.

When a company doesn;t respond to email, pick up the phone and call them.   Usually they at least answer.  If they tell you no schematics, oh well, but once talking to a human you may get better response than being one of 200 emails they got yesterday.
