Title: Spectrum AIL-10 amp schematic
Post by: maynardb on January 13, 2015, 08:15:23 PM
  Hi,
I'm new to the forum, and have experience with tube amps and radios. A friend of my son asked me to look at his cheap amp to see if I can repair it for him. It's a Spectrum AIL-10 guitar amp and the circuit board says it's a PG-10  circuit. I'd like to start by getting the schematic, but am having difficulty finding it on line. Can anyone help me? It won't turn on yet the fuse is good and it's getting power. there doesn't seem to be too much to the circuit, but I can't identify the chips ( 2) and there appears to be one transistor and one FET  but I can't find specs on them. any help would be appreciated., I just read that I shouldn't ask for a schematic in this forum, sorry. Oops!
regards,
Bruce

Post a clean sharp closeup picture showing transistors and ICs, label them with the code printed on the case.

These generic amps , sold under 100 brands, do not publish schematics, but it might be similar to one we know.
