Hi im just wondering what effects james and kirk use in unforgiven 2.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=3cr-H4OQFp4&search=unforgiven%202%20live
Thats the video, Im guessing the first part that kirk (black guitar) plays is some sort of distortion...
What effects dose james (yellow guitar) use? (im talking about the clean sounding part)
Thanks.
Sounds like maybe a light phaser to me. I only listened to a minute or so though. I'm not a big metallica fan, and on top of that it wasn't that great of a live performance. The yellow guitar is a telecaster btw.
The distortion is good old Mesa Recto amp variety.
The clean is a chorus, or it sure sounds like one.
Other than that terribly out of tune slide thingy Kirk attempted it's a pretty good performance though, I've heard them do worse.

That slide thing at the beginning? If thats what you are talking about, that was the big thing making me not want to watch the rest lol. That and I'm busy getting ready for my brother's graduation.
Yeah the did not seem to be on their game that day. The distortion they usually use is the mesa boogie and as for the chorus all I could dig up is that they use Boss SE-50s
dont know if that helps but...........
