I was of the opinion that I took the love for the Pathfinder 15R with a pinch of salt, lots of love for it all over the place.
Decided that I would only buy one at a low price, figuring that the chassis, speaker and cab would make for a good tube amp build, if the sounds didn't remotely deliver.
B Stock one came up at a good price, so I took the chance.
Arrived the day of a rehearsal so I took it along as my rig (though I took a spare amp in case)

Needn't have worried, against a drummer, bass, vocals and two horns this map delivered clean/brink of break-up tones no problem. I couldn't really believe it, but this little amp delivered. Has its own sort of tube'ey tone of its own,and the speaker is ace.
Works well with all my guitars

Under-rated amp IMO 8) ;)
So many cool guitars! Great looking amp too...
The Vox Pathfinder is underrated. And cheap too. So cheap that when it was introduced, I bought two - just to be on the safe side!
