Title: Woodstock GX-55R SS Amp
Post by: argenta on April 30, 2020, 10:59:16 PM
G'day all. I come from the South Coast of NSW. I repair all things electronically musical - guitar amps, pedals, sound desks, stereos and so on. So I have a Woodstock in the shop with no sound. Tests reveal the output MOSFET to speakers is kaput.
I haven't got any circuit diagrams or tech info to work off, so working without a net here...
What I am looking for is the specs for this 5 pin output MOSFET - yeah, no markings on the bad boy!
Really flying without instruments!
Any ideas?
Thanks  :tu:

5 pin Mosfet???
Sanken made 5 pin darlington output transistors.
The one that comes to mind is SAP09.
There also was a 15.

Please post photos of the circuit board, both sides.

For some reason I can't post the photos. It keeps telling me there's an error - file of the same name uploaded. Most off-pissing.

Sounds like someone already uploaded a file with the same name as you want to use.  Try renaming your file first., or resave your file under a new name and upload that.

That's exactly it, just need to rename your file before uploading.   :dbtu:
