Hi there
I once had a problem with my Yamaha DG 80-112 that I solved with help from this forum and I also asked about if there is something that I can use to lubricate the motorized knobs with. I didn´t get an answer for that but someone said that he/she hadn´t heard about any problems with the knobs.
The amp is more than twenty years old by now and I´m thinking that maybee it would be a good idea to lubricate them just to avoid problems in the future. But I don´t know how and with what, is there anyone who really knows?
The amp is a gem and I care for it a lot so I´d like to do everything I can to take proper care of it.

Don't know the brand, but there used to be a transparent silicone grease, very sticky and long lasting, which was used in tape recorders and VCRs.
I think it must still be available at Radio Shack and such.
Apply very little with a toothpick, it self spreads (sort of), by the very movement of the part.
Should last another 10 to 20 years .
