I built the noisy cricket and i really dig it.   

so now i want to put the LM3886 power amp behind it. ive got all the pcb's all printed and etched and I'm looking at transformers.(i've read up on the thread about that)

so here are my questions: 
am i going in a sound direction?  I can do this right?

how do i supply power the cricket ?  do i have to build another power supply? And if i have to do that, do i need a separate transformer for it?

edit: i just found the thread about powering preamps.  but if there's any info you think i might need, i appreciate it.
